James Russell ("Russ") Billiter, Sr, was born on 1 May 1890 in Columbus, Franklin Co, Ohio. He and Minnie Grant were married after 1932. He died in November 1947, at age 57, in Grove City, Ohio. He was buried in Grove City Cemetery, Ohio.

According to Virginia Louise Reeb, his daughter-in-law, he died of cancer.

(Curious birth date - five years too young, but attested true with his signature in a clear, bold hand. Not too old for employment? Son James R's medical records has Russ dying at 52, five years too young also.) - JHB

The 1900 Census for Peter's household in Columbus shows Russell as 10 years old.

Eleanor Agatha Siniff was born on 18 October 1893 in Darbyville, Pickaway Co, Ohio. She died on 16 April 1940, at age 46, in Columbus, Franklin Co, Ohio. She was buried on 18 April 1940 in Green Lawn Cem, Columbus, Franklin Co, Ohio.

Place of birth: According to Robert Charles Billiter, Eleanor's son, she
was born in Picqua, Ohio. The Greenlawn cemetery records give Darbyville,
Ohio. Her funeral book states it was Derby, Ohio.

Date of birth. The Greenlawn cemetery record states it was 18 OCT 1893;
the funeral book gives 18 OCT 1894.

Cause of death was cancer. Funeral was at Gates-Fourth Methodist church,

Mary Pauline ("Polly") Billiter was born on 6 August 1912 in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio. She died on 7 December 1981, at age 69, in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio. She was buried in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio.

Buried Greenlawn cemetery.

According to her son, Deke (William), there was a Billiter woman, a Civil War widow, who
crossed the mountains from Virginia in the 1860's or 70's and drove down the
dirt streets of Columbus with about eight children. They came in a Conestoga
wagon and settled in or around Columbus. Deke said Pauline told him this story.
