Robert Charles Billiter was born on 22 November 1920 in Columbus, Franklin Co, Ohio. He and Maxine McColley were married on 6 September 1946. He died on 6 December 2007, at age 87, in Whitehall, Franklin Co, Ohio. He was buried on 10 December 2007 in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Lithopolis, Ohio.

"Uncle Bob Billiter was a SeaBee (Naval Combat Engineer Brigade) in WWII in the Pacific Theater. Bob mentioned that his CB unit constructed an airfield from a coral base on Tinian Island very quickly, and many days before it was needed: a major CB addition to the war effort." Recollection is courtesy James Harold Billiter from about 1999, Bob's nephew, son of Bob's brother Jim Billiter.

Bob's grave is located near the traffic circle, a few yards SE of the large cross.

There was a fine military honor guard at Bob's burial, including a rifle salute by the local VFW and a small contingent of active Navy personnel from Rickenbocker. Their chaplain said a few words in Bob's memory. Bob served in the Enola Gay Security Force on Tinian Island, and he was awarded a bronze star.

Maxine McColley was born on 30 April 1927 in Canal Winchester, Franklin, Ohio. She and Robert Charles Billiter were married on 6 September 1946. She died on 1 September 2015, at age 88, in Columbus, Ohio.

Carol Anne Billiter was born on 9 September 1954 in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio. She died on 18 February 2012, at age 57. She was buried in All Saints Cem, Northfield, Ohio.

Marion Carl ("Doc") Brandenberger was born on 26 September 1918 in Columbus, Ohio. He died on 22 January 2012, at age 93, in Columbus, Ohio.
