Marie Lunseth was born on 6 December 1899 in Upham, North Dakota. She and Harrison Harold Hoosier were married on 8 December 1919 in Presbyterian Church, Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada. She died on 20 March 1997, at age 97, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She was buried in Westlawn Memorial Park, Edmonton.

Mr. and Mrs. Harrison H. Hoosier wish to announce the engagement of their
daughter Eleanor Irene to Mr James Booth Townsend only son of Mr. Frank
Townsendof Ioco, B. C. and the late Mrs. Townsend. The marriage will
take place onSaturday July 3, at St. Stephen's college Chapel. Rev G.
A. Larue will officiate.
Lynburn store and postoffice was also in the news. "H. H. Hoosier and
family, late of Hythe, are now setted in Lymburn. Mr. Hoosier has taken
over the Pollock store and is now the new postmaster.
Canora Community Leaque - The Canora Community League met on Monday,
March 9 in Canora School. a largeattendance of members and friends were
on hand to hear the reports of variousconveners. Canora Club is very
fortunate to have such a fine group of hard-working, community-minded
people to heard their committees. A very heaty hand-clap followed earch
report, and a vote of appreciation was given each. Allprojects
undertaken this winter were a finacial success, and the club is looking
forward to being able to carry out a fine program of summer activites as
well. A letter from Mr. and Mrs. Hoosier granting permission to Canora
Club to sponsor a Search-for-Talent Trophy in memory of their daughter
Janice,a former student of Canora School who was killed in an accident
on Stony Plain Road last summer. Janice will always remain in the memory
of her friends at Canora, and it is a privilege to have this trophy in
her memory.

Edward Harold Oakford was born on 29 April 1947 in Hythe Alberta, Canada. He died on 15 March 1997, at age 49, in Powell River, British Columbia, Canada.
